Thomas Lanyi (Dr.)

Thomas Lanyi is a senior private capital markets executive with 23 years of investment experience across multiple alternative asset classes in the Asia Pacific region. Currently, he serves as Managing Partner and CEO for CDH Investments in Singapore, where he also heads Southeast Asia and co-leads the firm's Global Crossborder Investments practice. In addition to his daily operational and transactional responsibilities, Thomas holds strategic leadership roles as a member of the management and investment committees, contributing to the firm’s overall direction. He shares firmwide client relations and fundraising responsibilities, actively engaging with the regional alternative asset management community, including fellow fund managers, clients, industry service providers, the media, and regulatory authorities. Previously, he served as Chairman of the Board and Ambassador for the Singapore Venture Capital & Private Equity Association for over nine years, establishing himself as a prominent figure in Southeast Asia’s investment landscape.
